The Great Rhythm Revival 2025

What a sweet walk down a path these past couple of weeks as I review the notes from the workshops I shared during the first ten years of the Great Rhythm Revival. Starting next Thursday, I am honored to be back in the mix again after needing to be away for the past five years.

It is more than just the workshops though… it is coming back into the nest with loving community and learning from extraordinary facilitators who bring their gifts of wisdom. It is joy and creativity and celebration that is now sixteen years in the making. It is savoring delicious locally sourced meals prepared with deep intention and care.

It is more than drumming and dancing and sound healing and writing and artmaking and movement and energy practices… it is sitting down and listening to someone sharing their stories of struggle and healing. It is having not just one set of shoulders to lean on, but a few hundred. It is knowing these friendships become loving and lifelong connections. It is knowing that love has blossomed, young ones have been brought in and are growing within the community (my daughter being one of them), and it is growing, shapeshifting, and moving through our phases of life together. It is also understanding that many in this circle have blessed us with their presence in the physical and who now bless us in spirit.

It is more than gathering on a beautiful property in the countryside… it is knowing that this land has been tended and cared for in sacred ways for generations. It is land that has held gatherings for decades, bringing in thousands of hearts to celebrate music, art, and the power of community. It is knowing that much of the food we are blessed to enjoy through the event is grown and raised there on that land by dedicated individuals who are present through the entire event with us.

This is so much more than a four-day event… it is an example of what is possible when we drop our masks and become fully human with each other. For those called to join us, please do. Day passes are available if you’re not able to spend the entire weekend with us.
