At its core, energy and consciousness work are gentle, non-invasive ways of approaching and working directly with the strengths and imbalances of subtle energies within and around the physical body. Energies move in patterns and can become sluggish, overwhelmed, stagnant, etc. Identifying the health and vibrancy—and any challenges that may arise with the energy systems—invites the client first to become informed, then empowered. An energy coaching session can assess what practices may be most beneficial to work with, along with inviting the client to become more attuned to recognizing how they can learn how to work with their own systems over time on their own.

An online session typically runs 90 minutes. Both the client and Jennifer will begin by establishing healthy boundaries, and make sure they are both grounded, centred, and hydrated. The client will be invited to check-in, and then both the client and Jennifer will engage in a connective, grounding practice. The focus of the bulk of the session (75 to 80 minutes) will then be to address where the client’s needs are at that particular moment in time before bringing the session to a close for one last check-in, and establishing any final needs the client may have.

The body and emotions are "maps" for how we can access the energies, and while symptoms and diagnoses are helpful, the goal of these sessions is to address the underlying habitual patterns within the energy system. Each individual’s energy systems are as personal and distinct as as fingerprint. There is no one-size-fits-all method, and balance may be brought forward differently each time using different practices (energy balancing practices, tapping, meditation, breathwork, creative expression, etc.). Self-care practices will be shared, as this is an instrumental aspect of this work. A session with a practitioner is wonderful, and it is also the client’s responsibility to bring in practices between sessions for optimal results.

Note: Our energies run on what is commonly recognized as a 24-hour circadian rhythm and a deep session, even online, can affect the rhythm for two to three days, so gentle self-care post-session is encouraged.

Note: One session may be time enough to address what the client is seeking. Multiple sessions can be arranged if necessary, with more of a focused plan over an agreed-upon number of sessions.

Working with Jennifer

Each practitioner will approach this type of work from their own perspective, training, and intuitive gifts. Jennifer primarily leans on the teachings within her formal training through the last two decades and a deep intuitive knowing for how to meet each client’s needs in the moment.

Jennifer’s intuitive style of working is deeply empathic, leaning into kinesthetic and clairsentient knowing. She experiences client’s subtle energies as "weather patterns" constantly shifting and changing. There are somewhat predictable patterns and energy anatomy understandings for us all to embrace. Each of our energetic systems will also shift widely depending on internal and external stimuli (stress levels, weather, food and drink, indoors vs. outdoors, how we interact with those around us, if we're engaging with our passions, etc.). This is a dance of relationship and understanding how our energetic systems can be assessed, balanced, and honored. Einstein shared in essence, "Everything is energy!" and Jennifer finds this to be absolutely true.

Jennifer feels that working with a practitioner can be wonderful when necessary, and incredibly beneficial when deep healing and balance is being called for. This type of work is an empowering, daily self-care practice like yoga, hiking, Tai Chi, dance, meditation, creative expression, eating well, etc. Above all else, when Jennifer is working one-on-one with a client, she invites the client to drive the process within the sacred container of this work for what is most comfortable emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically.
